Scott Harris - Spa Practitioner

Scott's journey of practicing massage began with treating his mother while she was sick with cancer. Providing any kind of momentary relief from her sadness and pain was an extremely rewarding experience, and led him to become a certified massage practitioner. Now a graduate of the Vancouver School Of Bodywork And Massage, Scott is trained in Swedish Relaxation, Deep Tissue, Shiatsu, Hot Stone and Sports Massage. Unique to all of these skills is the cornerstone of Scott's work; Deep Flow Massage. Deep Flow is a dynamic treatment that interweaves techniques such as stretching, body alignment, trigger point work, and joint release.
During his time as a massage technician, Scott has discovered a real passion for working with clients on an ongoing one on one basis. He strongly believes in gaining a solid rapport with his clients, in order to provide them with a treatment that is suited to their needs on that particular day. Most recently, Scott worked for a heli-ski lodge near Alaska where he worked on skiers from all over the world and helped them to maximize their time on the slopes. He has also spent time at a local spa in Tofino, working with incoming guests as well as local surfers. An avid surfer himself, Scott understands the passion to excel in sport as well as the demands it can put on the body. He believes in finding a healthy balance between proper training and regular massage work.

Registered Massage Therapist

Jessica Yee, RMT

Jessica is working her dream job. Influenced by massage therapy at a young age, Jessica has always been interested in helping people feel better through manual therapy. As an active athlete in swimming, ice hockey, ringette, and speed skating, she had a hard time finding ways to help her relax her ever-aching body. Through massage therapy, she was able to release the tension that was left over; even after stretching.

As an RMT graduate from the West Coast College of Massage Therapy in Dec 2008, Jessica hopes to help others in the same way that she was once helped. Swedish, Muscular Energy Technique, Myofascial Release, Trigger Point Therapy and stretching/exercises are just a few things that she ll incorporate into a treatment, leaving you feeling like you have a new body! Massage therapy can help with recent or old injuries, headaches, tendonitis, swollen limbs, chronic pain, digestive problems and neurological disorders. Whoever you may be, your body can always benefit from massage therapy!
